Lumpectomy - In breast cancer, Lumpectomy (wide local excision) and partial mastectomy are breast-conserving operations in which the surgeon removes the tumor together with some normal breast tissue surrounding it.

Mastectomy - The medical term for the surgical removal of one or both breasts, partially or completely.

Routine Breast Mass Excisions - Some women who have an abnormal mammogram or a lump in the breast may need to get a breast biopsy, where a doctor removes a small piece of breast tissue for testing.
